You’re right – the Left which includes the MSM – hates Palin – but they also think they can beat (I tend to agree). BUt they also know that Romney represents the conservative establishment and Palin the Tea Party – If they can open a rift there, they will be well served.

Perhaps both Romney and Palin (if she runs) will benefit if the left is faced with two conservatives they really can’t stand. Whatever the case may be on the left, the more important (and interesting) thing will be how (and even if–from my own viewpoint, the early signs are not very promising) the GOP manages to harness the angst and frustration of the electorate and whether they can do it without beating each other up.
