Value Voters Prove Their Lack Of Seriousness

Huckabee won the straw poll going away.  All supporting Huckabee did last time around was sequester this segment of the vote into an Evangelical ghetto.  I guess they like living in that ghetto.  All something like this does is force the other far more serious candidates to figure out how to win without this bunch – and believe me, they will.  I guess this confirms Lowell’s nervousness from earlier this morning.

I am truly saddened.  I would very much like to see “my peeps” do a little better than the ghetto.  But then, it’s still ealry, note this is only being covered deep in political geek territory.

Meanwhile…Romney’s Appearance

Got pretty good reviews:

EFM has the text of his speech.  Strikes me as pitch perfect.  He its what needs to be hit – he takes seriously what needs to be taken seriously.
