		<description>Makes you wonder how many times throughout history the greater cause was lost because those who should have been recognized as friends and allies were instead rejected due to differences that made them unacceptable in some way. Sure, they wanted the greater cause to succeed, but not if it meant legitimizing the outcasts in any way.  Interesting piece, John, and a good reminder for us all.</description>
