    John, that was a great article.

    But as I read, I couldn’t help think that the press is not the only party guilty of this.

    Many religionists are guilty of the same intellectual laziness or dishonesty or drive toward sensationalism in an effort to validate preconceived notions.

    If we religionists all did as we wished the press to do, oh what love and peace there would be–and we wouldn’t have to surrender our convictions either.

    It’s when we become spiritally lazy and want to demonize and bully others to believe as we do that we get into trouble. It’s the old love the sinner (unbeliver) but no the sin (unbelief) thing.
