Recently, I wrote a number of posts on my own blog about Proposition 8 – one of which may be of interest to you – see Proposition 8, Mormons and the New Statesman. Also, I believe the opponents of Proposition 8 misuse the term equality and promote their agenda under the guise of “equal rights”.

Although I haven’t visited your blog recently, you may want to be aware – if you are not already – of the United Nations program on “gender mainstreaming”. See Concepts and Definitions and Woman Watch: Directory of UN Resources on Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women.

Opponents of Proposition 8 seem to adhere to the same ideology as promoted by this U.N. program. We may not be able to trace the funding sources, but the principles and tenets are more easily followed.

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were warned for many years by its leaders about the encroachments upon our religious and civil liberties by certain individuals and groups. It is interesting that some of these groups and individuals are now openly and directly attacking the Church just as we were warned.
