If you have hate in your heart--if you can't even befriend someone who isn't of your faith--it says a great deal more about your character than that of an "infidel". I actually feel sorry for people like that. They have access to the scriptures, but because of their pride, prejudice, and disillusionment of other faiths, they become, ironically <em>anathema</em> to the teachings of Christ. Can a man condemn a Mormon, Jew, Muslim, et al., and think that they are really true disciples? John 13:35--35 <em>By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.</em>; Matthew 5:22--<em>But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment...</em>; Mark 11:26--<em>But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.</em>; Matthew 25:44-46--<em>Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.</em> There are, I don't know, about a million other verses that make my point.
