That quote of Grace and Joan make me want to scream too! These ladies wish to examine a candidate's religion and religiosity by holding it up to the light and turning it over and peering into it. Is this not a religious test?

Why should it matter? When we have a nation of religious freedom and multiple faiths and creeds, are they only capable of supporting a person who shares their own religion? We are back to identity politics which never unifies and only divides us from those who do not share that common quality that identifies us. How can we ever rise above such petty politics?
