		<description>That Pastor Keller would be described as &quot;wonderfully loopy,&quot; particularly in this context, should act as warning to those who (still) fail to realize that when it comes to conservative religious voices, we will all be tarred by the antics of the &quot;worst&quot; among us--especially from those who harbor antagonism toward religion (at least if taken seriously), or at best deep suspicion.

As for &lt;em&gt;U.S. News&lt;/em&gt; and it&#039;s sudden realization that &quot;religion appears to be a . . . complicated variable,&quot; it&#039;s clear the big media still &quot;doesn&#039;t get religion.&quot;  But don&#039;t expect them to take a deep breath and try to understand some nuances in the complexity.  &quot;I&#039;m blathering and I can&#039;t stop&quot; comes to mind.</description>
