As for <em>U.S. News</em> and it's sudden realization that "religion appears to be a . . . complicated variable," it's clear the big media still "doesn't get religion." But don't expect them to take a deep breath and try to understand some nuances in the complexity. "I'm blathering and I can't stop" comes to mind.
