Great Event For A6 Readers!!!!!!!!!
(ed note: Slighty edited for date reference) Thursday morning it was my distinct pleasure to participate in the "Blogger's Briefing" sponsored by Family Research Council, and specifically Joe Carter, editor of their blog. The briefing was conducted by Dr. Charles Dunn of the Robertson School of Government who is hosting today, Friday February 2nd, The Ronald Reagan Symposium 2007 – this year's topic being "The Future Of Religion In American Politics." The symposium will be webcast live from 9:00AM-4:00PM Eastern (6-1 Western) here. In addition, papers and notes from the symposium will be available at that same link beginning Monday 2/5.
Speakers will include Michael Barone, Michal Novak, and Marvin Olasky, all leading names in this field.
To help pique your interest, and because the briefing was an excellent discussion in its own right, the audio of that discussion is available here. (Long download warning!) Dr. Dunn was very generous, and I along with Joe Carter and some others were able to have an excellent discussion on matters related specifically to Romney and his faith and religion and politics in general.
I doubt Lowell or I will be able to pay much attention to the webcast, but you can look for us to comment when the materials go up next week. Nonetheless, we would like to encourage our readers to watch the webcast if they can – it should be very interesting.
