Remember that Boston Globe piece Lowell linked to yesterday?  (Speaking of which, I think that paper has a multiple personalities, from the hit pieces of a couple of weeks ago to this reasonable piece sort of has my head doing the Linda Blair thing)  K-Lo thinks it dissed EFM!  Which it did, but HEY! - what about us?  Lowell:  I feel very, very dissed.  But the Globe did link to us once while we were ripping on its Mormon conspiracy story.

Speaking of which, one of the pastors from one of the meetings that piece mentions has blogged about it.

Then the Globe political editor summarizes Romney's statements on his faith.  You know, Bush didn't say much about it either.  Lowell:  So far we haven't seen that Ann Romney has any interest in astrology.  That's a good thing; Nancy Reagan could get away with that, but  . . . .

SC effort for Romney.  Talking small government.  That oughta be a big hit with conservatives.  Side comment - this Hotline piece says the Globe scored a Hugh Hewitt "scoop."  Hugh mentioned his book on the air a couple of month's ago.  Some scoop.

It's no accident this story is breaking now.  Why is it I find myself remembering Bruce Herschensohn?  Lowell:  I find myself remembering what Ted Haggard said a few weeks ago.  I hope he was misquoted then, and that this story is wrong now.   John: Don't forget Lowell, he also is on record saying voting for a Mormon should not be an issue.  He may have used less than graceful vocabulary to describe our religious differences, but he is essentially on the right track with regards to the issues confronting this blog.
