New Evangelical poli–blog RedBlueChristian looks at a USA Today piece. What’s refreshing is that the post in question uses a pullquote from the USA Today piece that describes Romney’s problems with Evangelicals as issue-based, not faith-based. That’s good blogging.

The MSM (here linking to the NYTimes) has been all over the recent Pew survey of the blogosphere, mostly concluding it’s a bunch of kids goofing around. The problem is while that may be true statistically, it does not mean some blogs are not great informational tools, even if most aren’t. Blogs that take themselves seriously do good, serious work and are beating the MSM about the head-and-shoulders on a regular basis.

I sarcastically suggest it, others apparently take it seriously. Lowell: I think Governor Huntsman is the one who ends up not looking so good here. Is any other governor endorsing anyone this early in the game? Not that I know of. So I apply my first rule of analyzing otherwise inexplicable behavior, in law or in business: Look for the money or the self-interest. It’s got to be there somewhere!  Powder Tracks, who now lives in Utah, adds some interesting perspective.
